Can I bring my family with me?

Attendees are welcome to bring their families to the resort. Meals and breakout sessions are for attendees only.

What is the cancellation policy?

What do I need to bring with me to the Institute?

You'll need a laptop, tablet, or other wi-fi-enabled device. We encourage you to bring a water bottle and a light sweater or jacket, as well.

How will I receive updates and information about the Institute?

We'll use the email you provide at registration to send you travel information and event updates.

Need help getting administrator approval?

We've got you covered with two customizable professional development proposal letters: one from us to your administrator that emphasizes TNI's educational impact, and a second from you to your administrator that details the benefits of our best-in-class PD. 

Will I have my own room?

Yes! Our registration fee includes one single-occupancy room per attendee.

What is the occupancy limit per room?

Each room can accommodate up to four guests. Attendees will be responsible for an additional $30 per person, per night for each guest beyond double occupancy. If your children aged 18 and under are joining you, they can share your room at no additional cost. 

I'm driving in. Is my parking covered?

Yes! If you elected to drive to TNI your hotel parking will be covered. Please see additional parking details for your event in your confirmation email.

Note: Rental cars nor rental parking are covered by our transportation policy.

What if I want to extend my hotel stay?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer hotel extensions.

When will I receive my hotel confirmation?

You'll receive a reservation confirmation via email 2-3 weeks before the conference.

Who do I talk to if I have questions about the hotel?

What is the closest airport?

We recommend flying into the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. 

Am I guaranteed a direct flight?

Unfortunately, a direct flight cannot be guaranteed. However, our third-party travel agency will collaborate with you to choose the most suitable flight for your needs.

Will I be on the same flight as my colleagues?

Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that you will be on the same flight as your colleagues.

Am I able to upgrade my flight?

Attendees may choose to upgrade flight services at their own cost.

What if I experience travel issues or delays?

Our third-party travel agency is always on standby to assist you with any travel delays. If you are delayed in arriving at TNI, please email institutes@carnegielearning.com.

What is the mileage reimbursement?

The reimbursement rate is $0.655/mile to a maximum of $550 (about 840 miles).

How do I submit for reimbursement?

You'll receive a reimbursement link at the TNI conference. Kindly retain all receipts and submit a photo of each receipt when completing your reimbursement form.

Can I get reimbursed for checking a bag?

Unfortunately, Carnegie Learning does not offer reimbursement for checked luggage.

When can I expect to receive my reimbursement?

We aim to complete the processing and delivery of reimbursements within 30 days after receiving the submitted form.
